Sammanfattning:
Elektra collects, publishes and archives the articles of the leading Finnish scientific journals in electronic form. Elektra aims at enhancing both the technical and contractual conditions of electronic publishing and network access of electronic publications in Finland. At the moment the Elektra material consists of more than 12000 full-text articles from about 40 scientific journals. In addition to this, Elektra contains academic dissertations. Elektra innehåller ca 12000 artiklar från mer än 40 inhemska vetenskapliga tidskrifter och ett femtiotal dissertationer, i synnerhet inom historia. Bl.a. följande ämnesområden är representerade i Elektra: språkvetenskap, pedagogik, psykologi, samhällsvetenskaper, fysik, bio- och miljövetenskaper. Syftet med Elektra är att samla, publicera och arkivera vetenskapliga artiklar och avhandlingar inom ramarna för upphovsrättslagens bestämmelser.

The MLA International Bibliography with Full Text combines an index for the study of language, literature, linguistics, rhetoric and composition, folklore, and film with full text for more than 1,000 journals, including many of the leading publications in these fields. Produced by the Modern Language Association (MLA) and international in scope, the bibliography covers scholarly publications from the early 20th century to the present, including journal articles, books, articles in books, series, translations, scholarly editions, websites, and dissertations. The database also includes the MLA Directory of Periodicals and the MLA Thesaurus, a proprietary, searchable collection of thousands of subject terms, and personal names used in indexing the bibliography.
